Loyal Unimpossible Life readers...I am back. It's been a busy stretch since my last post, and this entry will need to be brief, but I did want to touch base and let you know what I've been doing.
The first few weeks of August were hectic. Busy at work. Moving to a new apartment. Preparing for vacation. One brief note about the move--we moved our last handful of boxes about 30 minutes before leaving for the airport to start vacation. After back-to-back meetings at work on the day we were leaving for the US, I made two final trips using my bike and trailer in order to finish the move.

We swapped keys with our landlord (same landlord...but new place) and got in the taxi to go to the airport. Our airport experience was uneventful and soon we were on a long flight to Newark. During our 9 hour layover, we headed into NYC for some fresh Big Apple air. The weather was pleasant and the people watching was excellent.

Soon, we were on our way to Wisconsin for what turned out to be a relaxing visit with family and friends. We spent the majority of our time in Door County--reading, enjoying sunsets, playing cards, walking, kayaking, biking, and eating good food.

Next, we headed to Texas for more family time, some bowling, a baseball game, and plenty of good laughs.

I'm now back in beautiful Ramallah, where the weather has cooled since mid-August. Unfortunately, spending time outside is in direct conflict with unpacking the countless boxes we loaded into the apartment before vacation. But I'm making progress and looking forward to the imminent return of my darling wife, who stayed in the US for a few additional days. Hope all is well in your world.
